Thursday, September 15th, 2022, at the Campbellton Nursing Home, at the age of 102, passed away Mrs. Jeannette Fugere of Campbellton, wife of the late Victor Brown.  She was the daughter of the late Laurette (born Richard) and the late Charles Fugere 

She will be sadly missed by her children: Richard (late Sylvie) of St-Michel-de-Sainte, Robert of Montreal, Ronald of Rawdon, Rene (Mary) of Montreal, Phylis of Vancouver, and Wanda of Campbellton; her grandchildren: Crystal of Campbellton, Laura of Campbellton, Olivia, Sabrina (Louie), and Jeffrey of Montreal; her great grandchildren: Luke, Dexter, Kaylin and Maeve; her great great granddaughters Alaska and Violet; her sisters and brothers: Irene Parent (John), Bertha Servant (Lucien), Dorothy Wood (late John), Walter (Joan), Kathleen Durette (late Maurice), and Victor (Leona) also by many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

She was predeceased by her husband Victor Brown, her baby son Charles and her son Michael "Buster", her great grandson CJ Bujold, her brothers, and sisters: William, Carmel, Doris, Gordon, Conrad, Leo, and Mary Anne, her daughter-in-law Francesca.

There will be a private celebration of life for Mrs. Jeannette Fugere, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice.

Jeannette lived in the Campbellton area until Oct. 1943 As the oldest of 14 children, she worked several jobs during the depression before moving to St. Paul L’Ermite, Quebec where she worked in the hostels near an Armory Plant during the war and met her first husband Victor. Jeannette returned to Campbellton permanently in 1971.  She was a seamstress her entire life and loved to sing and dance.
