Gilberte Savoie
1939-2022
Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 82, passed away Mrs. Gilberte Savoie of Eel River Crossing. She was the daughter of the late Desneiges (born Francoeur) and the late Bélonie Savoie.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Ronald of Calgary, Henri (Guylaine Bélanger) of Matane, Réal (Bernice Bouchard) of Eel River Crossing and Daniel (Marie-Josée Beauchesnes) of Dalhousie; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her son-in-law Wayne Scott of Calgary; her brothers and sisters : Paul-Émile (late Marie-Jeanne), Dominique (Rose-Marie), Yvon (Rose-Marie), Julien (Anne-Marie), Ludger (Diane), Gisèle, Bélonie (Monette) and Simonne (late Harvey) also by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.
She was predeceased by her daughter Diane, her parents; her sisters and brothers: Jeanne-D’Arc, Donat, Léonard, Murielle, Maurice, Imelda, and Rita.
Funeral mass will be held in the Ste. Trinité Church, Eel River Crossing, on Friday, May 13th, at 2:00 pm. Respecting Mrs. Gilberte Savoie’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A donation to the Tree of Hope Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
