Thérèse Poirier

Saturday, June 26^th, 2021, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 72, passed away Mrs. Thérèse Poirier of Eel River Crossing, wife of Mr. Rhéal Poirier.  She was the daughter of the late Yvette (born Bourgoin) and the late Francis Matte. 

Besides her husband Rhéal, she will be sadly missed by her children: Marielle (Réal LeBlanc) of Eel River Crossing, Jean-Guy (Carole Francœur) of St-François-d’Assise and Clarence (Kathleen Bierwirth) of Eel River Crossing; her grandchildren: René, Rémi, Roch, Johana, Xavier, Daphné and Lucy; her great grandson Billy; her brothers and sisters: Robert, Colette, Germaine, Raoul, Aline, Ruby, Anita, Donald, Ronald, Gilberte, Louise, André and Annette

also by many members of the Poirier family, nieces, nephews and friends.                  

She was predeceased by her parents, and her brother Alphé.       

The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday morning, June 30^th at 11am in the Ste-Trinité Church, Eel River Crossing. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the restricted quantity of people in church, the funeral will be held with reservations only, you can make your reservation by calling Marielle at (506) 685-7629. Respecting Mrs. Thérèse Poirier’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A donation to the Diabetes Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
