Antonio ''Tony'' Blanchard
1932-2020
Sunday, November 22nd, 2020 at his residence at the age of 88, passed away Mr. Antonio "Tony" Blanchard of Dalhousie, husband of the late Simonne Blanchard. He was the son of the late Régina (born Tardif) and the late Hilaire Blanchard.
He will be sadly missed by his children: Antonia (Ed) of Charlo and Simon (Monique) of Dalhousie; his grandchildren : Jamie, Lori, Pierre-Luc and Melanie; his great grandchildren : Brody, Lexi, Sadie, Lia and Brandon; his brother Albert Blanchard (Jeannette); his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law : Jean-Guy Gagné, Yvonne (Albert), Albina (Hebert), Fleurette, Rose, Claudette (Charles) and Isidore "Ti-Lou" (Cocotte) also by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Simonne, his parents, his sisters: Antoinette and Irène; his sister-in-law & brothers-in-law: Laurette, Yvon, Antoine and Jean-Guy.
Funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 4th, 2020 at 2 pm in the St. John Baptist Church, Dalhousie. Respecting Mr. Antonio "Tony" Blanchard’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A donation to the Tree of Hope Foundation or to the Friends of Healthcare Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
